Senior Educational Psychologist and Educational Psychologist
Buckinghamshire County Council serves a vibrant and diverse community where children and young people are at the heart of its vision for the future. Following a major reorganisation, the newly created Integrated SEN Service comprising Educational Psychologists, Specialist Teachers and the SEND Team is intended to support joint working, to develop co-production and to support all children and young people to achieve success.
Bucks have just reorganised to form integrated teams based in three areas of the county. The teams are made up of EPs, Specialist Teachers and SEN Officers, all under the leadership of an Area Manager.
Our Educational Psychology Service operates from offices based in Aylesbury, Amersham and High Wycombe.
This is an opportunity to help the re-imagination of the service to provide an integrated and responsive offer to schools, families and children.
We work with an Associate EP Model which allows for a focus on Statutory work allowing our permanent EPs, Senior EPs to support our aim to offer a wider range of Statutory and non-statutory services including consultation, assessment, interventions, training and the time to work more closely with schools, settings and the community.
In return we offer a great range of professional practice, a significant opportunity to impact positively on the lives of children and their families and excellent remuneration. Buckinghamshire has a high percentage of good and outstanding schools and excellent relationships with Head Teachers.
