Purchase to Pay Officer
Buckinghamshire County Council is seeking a Purchase to Pay Officer to contribute to the delivery of the Purchase to Pay function.

About the role
In this role you'll contribute to the delivery of the Purchase to Pay function within the Central Purchase to Pay team, ensuring that effective monitoring and reporting is taking place to provide assurance to section 151 officer. You'll maintain the vendor data and payments function within the Central Purchase to Pay Team, promoting and delivering best practice across all services areas in regard to the end to end purchase to pay function within business areas.

Educated to GCSE standard and with a minimum of 5 GCSE's at grade C or above, including maths, you'll have a comprehensive knowledge of the purchase to pay process from end to end. You'll have the ability to organise self and others and work as part of a team. With the ability to cope with conflicting and changing demands through good time management, you'll also be able to work under pressure.
Where our roles are customer-facing and you are required to speak to members of the public, the ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the role.
