Court Team Manager

These are exciting times, so if you want to experience the challenge and reward, come and be part of our improvement journey. Following a recent service re-alignment, we are now looking to recruit a Team Manager to head up our new central court team.
About the role
The post holder will work within the framework of the Public Law Outline (PLO) for children’s court care proceedings and actively support and promote best practice for children who need legal protection and permanent alternative care.
Working to the new Public Law Outline Court Manager, who oversees practice across the whole service, the post holder will perform a key departmental role to support and secure legal protection for children who have suffered, or are at risk of suffering, significant harm of abuse and neglect, including children who are unable to remain in the care of their birth parent(s) and require permanent alternative care.
You will have considerable experience in formulating and implementing effective social work interventions with children, young people and their families and carers and considerable experience of complex social work with families and or carers.
Knowledge and understanding of child development, parenting capacity, environmental factors and risk and protective factors are a must.
You will hold a Degree in Social Work and be HCPC registered.

We know your skills are highly sought after so we’re offering a 6% market factor salary enhancement if you choose Bucks. You will also receive a Golden Hello payment of £2,125 upon your one year work anniversary; car allowances of £600 per annum (paid monthly), and a Relocation Allowance up to £8,000 (if applicable)*.
