Social Worker, Contact and MASH
We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Social Worker. The role will involve joining a busy, fast paced Contact and Mash Team whose paramount objective is always a child's wellbeing and safety.
The First Response duty service ensures referrals are responded to in a child focussed and timely way. This will mean working in line with the Children Act 1989, and any other legislation and standards appropriate to the particular area of service delivery.
About the role
We have an opportunity for experienced Social Worker on a Fixed Term Contract or Secondment basis until 31 May 2019. This challenging but rewarding role will see you working directly with children and young people who are at risk of significant harm, ensuring that the voice of the child is always heard and listened to.
We know your skills are highly sought after so we’re offering a 6% market factor salary enhancement if you choose Bucks. You will also receive a Golden Hello payment of £2,125 upon your one year work anniversary; and a Relocation Allowance up to £8,000 (if applicable)*. To make a great Social Worker, you’ll bring your experience and knowledge with you and be confident in undertaking the role. In this busy, fast paced team, you’ll get on best if you are flexible and able to work well under pressure. You will work closely with colleagues from various teams and build positive links between your team and other parts of the service to ensure effective multi-professional working. You will hold a degree in social work (DipSW) and registered with the HCPC.
