Our team prides themselves on working with service users and their carers/families to find creative approaches to maximising independence; We use Strength Based Approach to develop and maintain informal support networks in the community. This includes having strong links with local and national services as well as encouraging the development of community resources being a prime focus.

To support you in your role we will provide you with access to the latest research and tools.   We have also developed bespoke mandatory training for workers, to focus on the needs of the individuals we work with. Aside from resources you will have access to formal supervision and be part of a team that shares ideas and is dedicated to providing peer support.

About the Role

As a qualified, experienced and senior worker your work will include some of the following:

  • Interesting and Diverse casework that could involve Court of protection work, , transforming care, Mental Health Tribunals and Safeguarding
  • Practice educator roles;
  • Supervision of others and Leading Peer Supervisions
  • Leading areas of responsibility eg. safeguarding, behaviour that challenges, risk
  • Deputising for the business manager

About you

You will hold a recognised health and/or social care qualification with 3 years plus post qualification experience. A car user and registration with the HCPC/NMC is essential for this post.

 Experience and knowledge required;

 Familiar with legislation for adults and be able to apply it to practice

  • You will be proactive in developing your knowledge and skills and sharing them
  • Recent experience in a health or social care setting
  • Excellent assessment, report writing and organisational skills
  • Work in partnership with people with diverse needs, both service users and carers; and colleagues and providers
  • You will be caring and collaborative; motivated and reliable; flexible and resilient
  • Have the ability to organise your own time and be able to work to deadlines.
