Centre Manager (Assistant Headteacher) @ Chiltern Skills & Enterprise Centre (CSEC) – Aspire Pupil Referral Unit (PRU)
We are offering a two term secondment as Centre Manager of our CSEC site in Chesham covering maternity.
Contract: Fixed-Term / Secondment to 31st Dec 2018 (maternity cover) we would consider a longer arrangement or permanent position if preferable for the right candidate
Hours: Full time
Salary: L9 – L14 dependent on experience or BCC Range 10
Required from 16th April 2018 (prepared to wait till Yr 11 leave)
Aspire is a Pupil Referral Unit spread over four sites in High Wycombe, Chesham and Aylesbury. Aspire provide 'outstanding' alternative educational provision and support for secondary age students. Students attend full or part-time and are referred to us by schools and the Local Authority. Our focus is to support young people, together with their families and schools, to reach beyond their potential and enable them to flourish by developing positive behaviours, attitudes and aspirations.

About the role
You would be responsible for the leadership and management of the site reporting to the Headteacher and supported by the Deputy Headteacher.
If you have the passion for making sure every pupil succeeds, care about each pupil, believe in inclusion and have the drive to work within an environment that can be challenging and yet is always rewarding then we would be pleased to receive your application. Preferably, you will be a qualified teacher, however we will consider all candidates with the relevant experience.
