Family Learning Tutor
Buckinghamshire Adult Learning is part of the Learning, Skills and Prevention Service, whose mission is:
to provide inclusive learning opportunities that promote well-being and inspire people living or working in Buckinghamshire to achieve their potential.
Family Learning, part of Buckinghamshire Adult Learning, works with parents to give them the confidence and knowledge to support their children's learning.
The Family Learning Team work with parents and children from birth to 15 in Early Years settings, Children’s Centres, schools and community venues. We run courses both for the parents on their own or intergenerational where their children attend.
About the role
We have vacancies for tutors to work in our team in School’s settings in Aylesbury Vale:
• We are looking for tutors to work with parents to help them support their children, mainly in either maths or IT. The maths courses are linked to the curricula in Primary schools and the IT courses will focus on online safety.
