The opportunity

Bucks Pay Range 4  (ISN 21)

FTE £23,045 pa pro rata.  (Actual salary £19,049 pa)

Permanent contract for 37 hours per week

38 weeks per year plus 2 INSET days paid as overtime

Working hours:Monday to Wednesday 8.00am to 4.00pm with 30 minutes for lunch and Thursday and Friday 8.00am to 3.45pm with 30 minutes for lunch

About the role

We require a Communicator qualified in BSL to work with pupils aged between 4 and 11 years old. Working primarily in mainstream classrooms, the successful candidates will support one or two hearing impaired pupils and help them communicate more effectively with their class teacher and other hearing pupils.

About you

He/She will join the enthusiastic and energetic team of our Hearing Impaired Department. CACDP BSL Level 2 preferred. The suitable candidate will also be required to supervise and assist the children during the lunchtime period for 30 minutes.
