The following vacancies have arisen within the Young Carers Bucks Team.
Hours: 18.5 hours per week
Salary: £20,500 – £22,250 pro rata
Carers Bucks is an independent local charity established in 2004 to support unpaid, family carers in Buckinghamshire. We are part of Carers Trust national network of Carers Centres around the UK. We are a countywide service, commissioned by Buckinghamshire County Council, offering support to adult carers and young carers. Our main office is in Aylesbury and we work closely with our sister charity Carers MK.

About the role
The service supports young carers aged between six and eighteen years who care for someone in their household who has a disability, physical or mental illness or a substance dependency.
You will need to have the ability to plan and deliver clubs and activities for young carers of all ages as well as a willingness to get involved. You will be supported in this task by a team of support workers and volunteers so effective interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
We are looking for an individual who has experience of working with children and young people, has excellent organisational skills, a good sense of humour, is able to work flexible hours and knows how to have fun.
