The opportunity

We are looking to appoint an experienced, creative and enthusiastic class teacher to cover a maternity leave in Reception in this friendly two form entry infant school.

Maternity Cover

Required full time from September 2018 (job share considered)

About you

The person appointed to the post should: 

  • Hold Qualified Teacher status. 
  • Have experience of teaching Early Years Foundation Stage pupils. 
  • Be able to plan, teach, assess and record programmes of work for all children in the class in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum and beyond as appropriate. 
  • Be aware of the teaching and learning processes in which young children should be involved and the most suitable environment for them. 
  • A good understanding of the needs of vulnerable groups including pupil premium, more able, EAL and SEN children.
