SEN Manager - Service Delivery
This an exciting opportunity to lead a large hard working SEN team who are continuing to evolve and embed the SEND Reforms.
The SEN Team is part of Buckinghamshire’s Children’s Services and is responsible for carrying out statutory duties with regards to Education, Health, & Care assessments, working closely with our mainstream, special schools & academies to ensure that all children are fully supported and are able to achieve to their full potential.
About the role
As a SEND Manager you will co-ordinate and deliver SEND statutory processes, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations which will involve working closely with parents, carers, schools and other educational settings. You will also be responsible for line management of the SEN officers and other staff in the team.
You must have excellent communication skills and be able to demonstrate a high level knowledge of SEND in schools and other educational settings. The role also calls for an understanding of law and procedures relating to the SEND Code of Practice and the Children and Families Act, 2014.”
This is a fixed term contract until the end of August 18
