Salary: Bucks Pay Range 1B (£15,084) – (£17,768) per annum pro rata

(Depending on qualifications and experience)

31 hours per week, 38 weeks per year, Monday to Friday

About the role

We have vacancies for full-time Learning Support Assistants to work within the Learning Support
Department for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Someone with experience with Visual Impairment would be desirable.

About you

  • You will support students in the mainstream classroom as well as supporting / leading small group
    interventions within the Learning Support Department
  • You will need to be patient, calm and assertive with good empathy skills
  • Knowledge and experience of working with students with SEN is desirable though not essential, as is an ability to understand the KS3 and KS4 curriculum
  • Ability to support students to access the English and Maths curriculum (up to GCSE) is desirable
