Sessional Tutor - Arabic, Monday evenings, High Wycombe
We run courses in a wide range of subjects, from general interest to one-day taster courses, through to Advanced Level - depending upon demand. Courses do not lead to accreditation, and the preparation of the coursework is the responsibility of the tutor. It is essential that all our tutors prepare and maintain good records of student progress. We are especially interested in applications from tutors who can teach in the evenings and on Saturdays. We are developing programmes of learning which mix home study and online learning with support workshops. We are seeking tutors who have innovative and creative approaches to teaching their subject specialism.
Buckinghamshire Adult Learning is part of the Learning, Skills and Prevention Service, whose mission is:

We offer qualifications in areas such as English, mathematics and English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), a range of apprenticeships and the City and Guilds Award in Education and Training for those who wish to embark on teaching/ training adults. We offer a wide range of non-accredited courses in creative studies, foreign languages, computing and health and fitness.
Approximately 8,000 learners each year access our programmes in around 140 locations across the county including dedicated Adult Learning Centres, school premises, community centres and employer premises. Programmes are available daytime, evening and weekends for most of the year. There are courses for parents and carers with their children arranged by the Family Learning team.
