Teaching Assistant - Prestwood Junior School
We are seeking to appoint a flexible, enthusiastic and highly motivated Learning Support Assistant.
Contract type: Temporary contract until initially August 2018, term time only.
Full or Part-time:. 5 days a week. hours to be 8.30am to 12.30pm, 13.30pm - 3.30pm. 30 hours in total.
Potential start date: ASAP
Salary: Bucks Pay 1b. £15,084 - £17,768 FTE. Actual Salary £10,147 - £11,953

About the role
You will be joining a strong, supportive and friendly team in our popular and successful Junior school. The role is to support a child in year 4.
Candidates should be sensitive and firm with good behaviour management, and have high expectations of pupils and themselves and to be a good team player.
Candidates will need a minimum of GCSE in English and Maths. Experience or training with children with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties would be desirable. It would be advantageous to have ASD training, in addition to Learning Support Assistant qualifications.
Candidates need to be willing to take part in continual improvement throughout the school and be able to use their initiative.
