About the role
To support vulnerable adults with different needs in a person centred and dignified way to help them get what they need and want from the service to make their day enjoyable and meaningful.
In this role you will provide appropriate emotional, social and physical support for clients. You will assist clients in an individual, person centred way, to ensure they can make meaningful choices, take part in a range of activities and live their lives as fully and independently as possible.
You will be part of a team whose aim is to encourage the development of clients’ strengths and interests within a structured environment in which clients feel secure and empowered.

You will need to be able to communicate in different ways to ensure that clients’ needs and wishes are understood and to deal sensitively and appropriately with any challenging behaviours.
Ideally, you will have some knowledge and experience of adult social care, but more importantly you must be motivated to improve the lives of vulnerable adults with a commitment to delivering a high quality service.
The success candidate will have the ability to show initiative and take responsibility for actions, be flexible and work well as part of a team.
Good communication and written skills are essential to write records including support plans.
