About the role
The Country Parks Team manages three stunning self-financing country parks in the South of Buckinghamshire. Covering around 850 acres, we attract in excess of 750,000 visitors a year to our diverse and unique range of habitats and landscapes. From SSSI’s, LNR’s and parkland through to formal gardens, lowland heath, native and coniferous woodland, we have it all.
We are looking for a highly motivated, dedicated individual to join our close knit team and support us in delivering high quality practical site management during the winter season.
You will be educated to A level standard or equivalent as a minimum, ideally with a relevant degree level qualification in countryside management, and hold recognised vocational qualifications in chainsaw, brushcutting, pesticide spraying and First Aid.
Work based or voluntary experience in practical site management environment is essential. Successful applicants must have a full driving licence and be able to undertake a range of activities in all weathers.
