We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Design Technology (Resistant Materials specialism) Technician to join our school.

REQUIRED October 2017

Salary Range: Bucks Pay Range 2 (scale 11-15)

(£8254.88 - £9272.64 - depending on experience)

20 hours per week (Mon – Fri) 38 weeks per year

About the role

The successful candidate will be able to work with students across the school in
lessons and support the development of both curriculum areas, which are well resourced and popular with our students.

Are you:

  • Knowledgeable of resistant materials and confident using workshop machinery
  • Passionate about the importance of learning
  • Enthusiastic about working with young people to help them succeed
  • Inspirational and creative
  • Someone with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Prepared to be First Aid trained (Basic level)
  • Able to support Art/Photography

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the learning of our students and therefore must have a minimum of GCSE Grade C or above in Mathematics and English.
