    Stony Dean School and Amersham School are both student centred schools, committed to excellence. We are looking for a creative teacher with excellent communication skills to work with us on a brand new model of schooling for pupils with Special Educational Needs. This innovative model is the first of its kind in Buckinghamshire and promises to be exciting and challenging. You will be employed by Stony Dean School, but will spend a significant proportion of your time working at Amersham School.

    The job will require you to share in the school’s shared visions and play your part in driving the project forward. You will work with pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition using specialist strategies to support their mental health and associated needs in order to facilitate their engagement in a bespoke curriculum at Amersham School. You will be required to support these pupils into lessons and work with these pupils enabling them to reach their full potential. You will also be required to work side by side with other teachers to ensure the partnership model pupils are able to access the curriculum and ultimately fully experience inclusive education.
