Children’s services in Buckinghamshire are on a journey to delivering outstanding services. Children and their families are at the centre of everything we do. Building on the Strengthening Families model adopted for child protection conferences in 2016, we want to apply the latest skills and knowledge to achieve the best outcomes possible for the children we seek to protect and support.
We are keen to incorporate the key principles of the ‘Strengthening Families’ to our services here in Buckinghamshire, to enhance and recognise what we already do. The model follows the following key imperatives:
School Crossing Patrollers have an important role within the community helping children and their parents to cross busy roads and help to keep their journeys to and from school a safe and pleasant experience.
Are you are interested in becoming a school crossing patroller? Are you over 18 years of age, reliable, friendly, have good health and enjoy being outdoors? We recruit both permanent and 'relief' patrollers. Relief patrollers provide cover for permanent patrollers.
A Safeguarding Adults Practitioner is required to provide coordination and take a lead role in safeguarding adults in the multi agency safeguarding hub (MASH).
